ABOUT

KAY / BLACK NERD DISabled

The WELL-BEINg AND Clarity cOACH

Hey, I’m Kay, and I’m an intersectional nerd on a mission to make wellness accessible for all. After years of burnout from modern grind culture and feeling drained by oppressive forces coming for multifaceted identities (I’m a first-gen, Black woman with a disability, born from Caribbean immigrants -- now that’s multifaceted!), I knew it was time to create brave spaces to replenish my energy and give back to myself. Now, I’m ready to give back to others.

As a recovering perfectionist and over-giver, I knew what it’s like to put myself last. Poor boundaries, pretending I was always okay, maintaining relationships that no longer served me…all while battling a society coming for me and my marginalized identities? Yeah. Sis was low-key/high key tired.

I began to see how everyone around me was also struggling with wellness and nurturing their energy, especially in today’s unforgiving capitalistic culture. By holding space for others throughout my career and personal healing journey, I’ve discovered there are so many unique ways to pour back into ourselves and all of our amazing identities.

I’m here to be your wellness curator, coach, and cheerleader. Your needs matter, and I’ve got a certified free spirit with tried-and-true strategies to make sure you keep that shine. Ready when you are! 💜
